Do yourself a favour, scroll past the lonely 1 star reviews with personal agendas, and check out this place. The staff was very helpful when we questioned the menu or what's included with what options. The all-you-can-eat sushi quality rivals that of any Al a carte place. My favourite thing was that all the fish is wild, not farmed, so it has a little different taste to it, but it is so perfect. They also make their own soya sauce and it's not as salty as other places. The rolls are ginormous and very fresh tasting. Fantastic presentation and flavour.

The place is small (5 tables). It's wonderful. Food is made fresh and their hot sauce is the best I've had.

This is oddest and smallest sushi place I have ever been to. The service is like at a high end restaurant. The sushi chef walks you through the menu. It is kind of cute that the orders are called out to kitchen and then repeated back. The place is so small the staff are almost on top of one another. This is the BEST sushi I have had anywhere! My kid had one small complaint. He wanted the sauce on the teriyaki sauce to be a bit more flavourful. Wished I lived locally. I would be eating there all the time.

Great owner operator. Very small space so the chef usually comes and chats and caters the meal to what you like. It is now our go to sushi

Very high quality taste, perfect size sashimi. Oil for gyoza could have been changed sooner. Slightly more expensive, but worth it! Queen AYCE is not actually AYCE, though definitely filling!

Great food and wonderful service. The owners make the experience personal and geared to your tastes. They always remember my favourites. And make me feel special. No huge restaurant impersonal feel.

If you like meat that is sweet, then this is a good place for you! If not, then you will probably not be much of a fan. I ordered the Donair dinner with caesar salad and fries. Prices include tax, service is swift, and portions are decent sized. Excellent place for takeout. Today was my first time here

One of the worst sushi restaurants I've ever visited in my life. PERIOD. I wish I could give 0 out of 5 stars. Sashimi tasted terrible and they also charged $1.50 for a hot tea without letting me know. BEWARE! Please stay away from this restaurant.

I went here with my friends yesterday hoping for some great all you can eat sushi and we were not disappointed! It had a very warm and friendly environment and there was great food and great service! Looking forward to returning

If you’re a Sushi lover appreciating freshness, quality of ingredients, presentation of food and personable, excellent service - this could be your place. I’ve been there with my son first time today; I am a frequent Sushi eater and came out totally enthusiastic about the whole dining experience. Don’t get thrown off by the simple strip mall location, we got Incredible value for the money in my opinion, cannot recall when I’ve last had Sushi that was so great. Which is all the more astonishing with an all you can eat formula that tend to cut corners on something. Will go back next time I’m in Kingston for sure. Thank you, Sapporo team!

Amazing sushi! A little place in a strip mall but the owners are very nice and the lady makes her own kimchee...yummy!

Went there with my niece from Brussels and was very pleasantly surprised. The sushi was delicious and the husband and wife team are friendly and helpful. We asked if they had kimchee and she's made her own and gave us a plate, totally amazing....I used to live in Montreal and had all kinds of sushi but this place is tops... Order the red dragon!!

Great atmosphere , business seems to be ran by a wife and husband, my cousin and I ordered the all you can eat. Chef was great , this family take a lot of pride running the business ! Love seeing businesses like this strive.

Sushi at this restaurant was an absolute delight. We purchased a take out order and it was incredibly affordable and had high quality made sushi.Very impressed. You can count me as a regular now.

Great sushi and veggie options, we didnt know what some things were on the menu but they just made us whatever we asked for even if it wasnt written on the menu! The owners were extremely nice, and kept making us different things to try! That wonton soup is great.

One of the best sushi I've ever had. The chef kept coming out and bringing us more food for us to try (free of extra charge); you really can feel the experience of authentic Japanese cuisine at this restaurant. Definitely worthy of the high rating it's obtained.

Love this place, great for small groups, prices are super reasonable, can start off with quite a bit for $20 then upgrade to all you can eat for an extra 5. Really great sushi, everything my friends and I have gotten has been awesome!

I cant say enough about how amazing Sapporo is - the sushi has never been less than amazing, the couple who run the restaurant are adorable and personable and I've never had less than A-Grade service and food. Awkward location but within walking distance from my house, adorable decor. My absolute favourite sushi place in Kingston for a student budget and date night! - All you can eat sushi is really all you can eat - the staff are wonderful and noticed myself and my date visiting regularly and will often give us extras. All food is made to order and delicious. Staff remember our orders. LOVELY!

Great sushi (and portions)! We love popping in here for a quick bite - and judging by the fact that it's always busy - so do a lot of people. The Queen meal is huge! It's like plate after plate of great sushi - just get ready for your take out container. The owners are very charming; given that this is a small restaurant, they are always buzzing about making sure your meal is just right.

This sushi was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! And I grew up in Vancouver—where the sushi is phenomenal and the fish is freshest possible. The menu was confusing at first but we just went for it and it was 100% worth it. Just get the Queen option and you’ll be set!!!! It’s a really reasonable price for all that you’re getting... we could barely finish everything but forced ourselves because it truly was amazing. I’ll be going here every time I’m in town!!! Amazing quality, delicious taste, and really wonderful owners. They should be proud.

The service was absolutely incredible. We were given even more than we ordered, simply because the chef wanted us to try some other rolls, and everything was incredible. The sushi was authentic and delicious, and everything tasted absolutely incredible. Would recommend to anyone

Unfortunately, food was not tasteful. Asked for non-spicy food, and the rolls came with a extremely spicy sauce on top of them.

Okay, the lady serving was nice but the sushi is not that good. Maybe it is good for Kingston quality. The rice was overcooked and mushy. I ordered a red dragon roll and there was suppose to be shrimp inside and salmon on the outside. The roll came out and looked delicious. I was disappointed to find out there was no tempura in 2/3 of the roll, like what a scam. Only 3 out of 12 pieces had shrimp in it, the rest was deep fried carrot sticks! Are you serious??? They make it look like here was shrimp in the whole thing.
